Mount Clemens Public Library is excited to bring the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program to our community! This fun and rewarding program encourages families to read together, and helps children develop essential early literacy skills before starting school.

When Will the Program Begin?
This program will kick-off on Saturday, February 1st.

Who Can Participate?
Any child who hasn’t yet entered kindergarten is eligible. All you need is a love of stories and a commitment to reading 1,000 books together with a parent or guardian.

Earn Rewards Along the Way!
Celebrate your progress with prizes as you reach these milestones:

• Sign-Up: Receive a cool bag to carry all your books.
• 100 Books: Earn a certificate and a sticker.
• 500 Books: Get a certificate and a bookmark.
• 750 Books: Take home a certificate and a book to keep.
• 1,000 Books: Celebrate your accomplishment with a certificate and a special prize.
